1. AP Honor School for 23-24
The State Superintendent Richard Woods name Advance Placement (AP) Honor Schools across the state. The 2024 AP honor school were named in eight categories. Morrow High School was one of those schools.
2. The Silver Star Civic Engagement with Excellence Award
The GA-791 cadets achieved recognition by receiving the prestigious Silver Star Community Service Award. They earned this distinction by ranking in the top 5% among all AFJROTC units.
3. Over 1000 8th Graders
In April, Morrow High School hosted 8th graders from Adamson, Morrow, and Rex Mill Middle School. The 8th graders had the opportunity to see all the great thing Morrow High School will offer them.
4. Excellence Award.
Morrow High School's World languages Department were award the Excellence Award on the 1st Annual Clayton County Public Schools Builders Award ceremony.
5. FBLA National Competitor.
Daro Phaen, a ninth grade student at Morrow High School, has emerged in the Future Business Leaders of America Sales Presentation Competition. He secure a spot to represent Georgia FBLA in the upcoming National Presentation Competition, held in Orlando, Florida.
6. Jamal Hill
Jamal Hill is part of Morrow High School's class of 2019. He attend and played football at Oregon. He was recently drafted by the Houston Texans.
7. Jessica Alexander.
Jessica Alexander. She graduated from Morrow in 2020. She has since gone on to be recognized for her talents, hard work and made history becoming JSU's first ever Female Head Trumpet Section Leader..
8. High School Tutor.com video Winner.
The Division of Communications, Public Relations held a tutor.com video competition. Royce Lewis was selected as the High School Winner.
9. Computer Science AP Test.
This year the AP Computer Science class lead by Ms. Steib had 100% passing- on the AP test.
