Media Center

Our Media Secretary is Mrs. Ree McCoy.  This is her eighth year in the Media Center.  She has been in the Clayton County Public School system since 2005.  She has an undergraduate degree from Fort Valley State University and a Masters Degree from Phoenix.  She coaches boys' basketball.

When we are able to return to the actual school building, the Media Center will be open to students daily from 7:45 A.M. to 3:45 P.M.
Students may visit the Media Center before or after school, but when classes are in session, they must have a pass from the teacher.
Students may check out three books at a time, and keep them for two weeks.  If more time is needed, books may be renewed for an additional two weeks.
The Media Center provides access to computers for students' classwork, research, and projects.  Students are not allowed to play games on the Media Center computers!  Students may not print in the Media Center.

For research, we highly recommend the Galileo High School website, which can be accessed through the student's RapidIdentity portal:

The Britannica High School database is especially helpful, as it provides access to encyclopedia articles, images, videos, and websites that support the Georgia Common Core performance standards.
