Jennifer Henley is a dedicated educator with over two decades of teaching experience. She currently works in the Clayton County Public School System located in the southern part of the metro Atlanta region. Clayton County Public Schools is among the largest 100 school systems in the United States and serves over 50,000 students. Starting her career at Riverdale High School in 1999, her commitment to education led her to Morrow High School in 2001, where she continues to excel. Jennifer's teaching repertoire expanded to include a wide range of subjects from World History to Advanced Placement Government and Politics. As the Social Studies Department Chair, she spearheaded initiatives to enhance student learning and engagement including sponsoring Mock Trial, EuroChallenge, and the Georgia Department of Education Civic Engagement Diploma Seal program at her school. Her passion for professional development is evident through her attendance at numerous conferences and workshops, where she shares her expertise in curriculum development and instructional strategies. Jennifer Henley's unwavering dedication has earned her recognition as a distinguished educator and leader in her field including being named a Clayton County Public Schools Teacher of the Year Finalist in the 2021-2022 school year.
