Hello My Name Is...

Mr. Tabet

This is my 12th year as a French teacher, with a state teacher certification in both French and Mathematics. Prior to that, my corporate professional career included 25 years in design engineering, nuclear performance assessment, telecommunication, computer support, program management, and US Army consulting. Currently, I am a 3rd year student, pursuing a PhD in Global Training and Development with emphasis in Organizational Leadership and International Education.

It is my pleasure to see all my students succeed and reach their best performance in all topics, not just French. I look forward to working with my students, parents, colleagues, and administration, so we can reach our district strategic goals and the highest level of performance of our school history, and be able to compete at the global level. I look forward to our school participation and success at the State of Georgia Foreign Language Competition.

I Came to USA on a scholarship program at Georgia Tech, learned English at Georgia State University as an ESOL student, while completing a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering (minor in mathematics) at Georgia Tech with honor. I was awarded two academic grants by the AT&T/Lucent Technologies and completed two Masters, one in International Business Administration with emphasis in international strategic management from Brenau University, and a second Master in project management from Stevens Institute of Technology.

I am fluent in four languages and love to travel, taking students and parents to several countries, on Educational Tours, including France, Spain, Italy, and England.

My professional career includes Design Engineer with Fabralloy, Senior Nuclear Engineer in Operation Performance and Assessment with Georgia Power, computer applications and customer support with First Data Microbilt, Engineer and Program Manager with AT&T/Lucent Technologies, and Program Manager consultant with the US Army Fort McPherson under the direction of General Donalds.

While at Georgia Tech, I coached the school soccer team and led it to the SE Collegiate Finals in Tampa, Florida games. My hobby includes four decades in martial arts; ranked in top 10 world Taekwondo ranking and finalist in the world championship competition. I am Personal Trainer certified by the American Council of Exercise, Taekwondo Instructor, and business operator in three major Clayton County Parks and Recreation Centers (
